SNOW PLOWING PROCEDURES
From ACRES ENTERPRISES
1. We try and please as many people as possible.
2. We start within an hour of the storm's finish, and if excessive snow
has fallen,
we start sooner.
3. We start in the same place every time to give the homeowner a general
idea of
when his drive will be plowed.
4. We make a first pass through the project doing only drives with no cars
in them.
This is for safety reasons as well as servicing as many people as quickly
as
possible.
5. The second pass is made immediately following the first pass working
around
cars, staying approximately six to eight feet away from cars. Again,
this is for
safety reasons.
6. A third pass is made on the same day, usually after a break for lunch
or dinner,
approximately six hours after the storm has finished.
7. A pass is always made the following day for any cars that may have moved
since
the day of the storm. This is, hopefully, enough time for the homeowners
to
move their cars, giving them a safe and clean community to live in.
8. Sidewalk crews are a total separate entity, usually arriving at the site
in advance
of the plow trucks or tractors, to clear in front of garage doors and
stoops so there
is no damage made to the garage doors by the plow trucks or tractors
pushing
snow into them.
9. If de-icing material has been budgeted and/or requested by the Umbrella
Board of
Directors, it will be applied by the sidewalk crews.
10. Any problems please call property manager direct, ASI -- 459-6565.
Handicapped individuals or those with special needs should notify:
ASI -- 459-6565
NOTE: The majority of our staff is made up of full-time people which have
been on
the site throughout the summer months and are very familiar with the
complex.
